The HU 5003 z is the paper-and-plastic insert that goes into the engine's own oil filter housing. There is no can to throw away, so the old element can be incinerated with no metal to strip out. It measures 47 mm across and 161 mm tall and comes with the O-rings the housing cap needs, so the job is done without a trip back to the counter.

### Service set

On a service the workshop usually replaces it together with the air filter C 30 005, fuel filter PU 8014 and cabin filter CU 26 009 for the same car, so one order covers the filters.
