### The job

VKBA 3646 replaces a worn wheel bearing on either axle of the VW Transporter T6. It is a complete hub unit with the flange built in, pre-set and sealed at the factory, so there is no end-play to adjust and it bolts straight on. The magnetic ABS encoder sits in the seal: fit it the right way round and keep magnetic tools and metal swarf away from it.

### In the box and alongside

The kit comes with a nut, so no used fasteners go back on. SKF recommends its special tool VKN 604 for the job. The same kit fits the front and the rear axle. With the wheel off, check the brake discs, pads and the bearing on the other side.
