## Why this one

- **Complete repair kit**: Comes with three screws; nothing used goes back on.
- **Two per axle**: Sold per wheel; SKF lists two per axle for this fitment.
- **Built to OE design**: Made to the original bearing design for this car, so it fits without modification.

## On the job

### The job

VKBA 7229 replaces a worn rear wheel bearing on the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y. SKF supplies it as a ready-to-fit unit matched to the original design, with the single-use parts the job calls for. A worn bearing shows up as a hum that rises with road speed and changes when the car loads up in a bend.

### In the box and alongside

The kit comes with three screws, so no used fasteners go back on. SKF lists two per axle, and with the wheel off it is the moment to check the brake discs, pads, the CV joint boot and the other side's bearing.
