### The job

For the high-mileage 2.0 TDI where the flywheel rattles at idle or fails the play and runout check. Everything behind the gearbox is renewed at once: dual-mass flywheel, pressure plate, 240 mm disc with 23 splines and the central slave cylinder. The flywheel and pressure plate bolts are in the box, so no stretched bolts go back in.

### Fitting notes

Valeo gives 60 Nm plus 50 degrees for the flywheel bolts. On the Passat the kit is listed for the Estate only. If the customer wants a cheaper lasting repair, the KIT4P 845254 swaps the dual-mass flywheel for a solid one; if the flywheel is healthy, 834586 or 834619 is enough.
