Replacing the slave cylinder at the same time avoids pulling the gearbox again for a leak.

### Check alongside

The dual-mass flywheel is reused, so check its play and runout while the gearbox is out and look for oil from the crankshaft rear seal. A worn flywheel means ordering one separately. Grease the input shaft splines sparingly and keep grease off the friction faces; bleed the hydraulics fully after fitting.
