## On the job

### Lamp and ballast in one

D5S puts the electronics in the lamp base, so it runs straight off 12 V and is changed as one unit. In our range it lights both beams in the bi-xenon headlamps of the Audi A4 B9 and Ford Transit Custom. This is the XENARC ORIGINAL version, rated 1500 h B3, with E13 approval.

### On the job

Replace in pairs so colour and output match side to side, and check the headlamp aim afterwards. Because the ballast is part of the lamp, there is no separate ballast to source for this job. Handle the burner by its base and keep the glass clean.
