## Summary

## On the job

### Gets into the thread

Road salt locks exhaust clamps, caliper carrier bolts and suspension fasteners in place. Rust Off PRO has a very low surface tension of 26 mN/m, so it wicks along threads and under rust scale rather than sitting on top; in CRC's spread test a 25 µl drop covers 90 cm in 24 hours. Give it time to soak in before putting a breaker bar on the fastener.

### Leaves something behind

Once the carrier solvent has evaporated, after two to four hours, a lubricating film with MoS2 stays on the parts, cutting wear and helping against new corrosion. The formula is silicone-free. Thanks to the CO2 propellant, more than 97 % of the aerosol is active product, and a 2 × 5 l pack serves workshops that fill their own pump sprayers.
