The PSA service oil
PSA diesels with particulate filters are specified on B71 2290 oil in 5W-30, and that is exactly what this grade carries. ACEA C2 puts it in the low-ash, fuel-economy class the French makers use, so it suits the BlueHDi engines found in Peugeot, Citroën and DS cars and vans. It also meets Fiat 9.55535-S1 for Fiat engines that call for it.
Protection from start-up
MAGNATEC is built around additive molecules that stay on metal surfaces after the engine stops, so the valve train, timing chain and bearings are not dry on the next start. On the 1.5 BlueHDi the service is oil, oil filter and sump plug seal; check the timing belt age while the car is up, since that engine runs its belt in oil.
