Dampers from an OE supplier, split the way the carmaker splits them
01
SACHS began as Fichtel & Sachs in Schweinfurt in 1895 and has belonged to ZF since 2001. In the aftermarket the name means shock absorbers and clutches, and many of the dampers come off the same lines that supply carmakers for new cars. For the workshop that means a replacement that matches the original part in design, mounting and damping.
02
SACHS part numbers follow the carmaker's own split by chassis version, PR code and equipment code, so the right damper is a matter of reading the car, not guessing. Next to the dampers sit top strut mounts and Service Kits with bump stops and dust covers, so a complete axle can be quoted and fitted from one brand.
