What it does
The FP 28 009 is the top of the MANN-FILTER cabin range. A fine particle layer catches PM 2.5 dust and pollen, activated carbon adsorbs gases such as NO2 and ozone, and a polyphenol-treated layer binds allergens and works against bacteria and mould growing in the filter. A good upgrade for allergy sufferers.
Service set
On a service the workshop usually replaces it together with the oil filter W 7057 and air filter C 27 031 for the same car, so one order covers the filters. The fitment list shows exactly which versions it suits. Log the change in the service book and reset the service indicator.
