Flat blades on a hook arm
These cars left the factory with conventional frame blades on a hook-type arm. The Retrofit set swaps them for frameless Aerotwin blades without changing the arm: the HBG1.1 adapter is already on the blade, so it slides onto the hook and locks. Twin spring rails replace the frame, which means fewer joints to freeze up and even pressure along the whole rubber.
Worth doing at the same time
Sell them as a pair; the passenger blade ages at the same rate even if nobody complains about it. Check the arm spring tension and clean the glass of wax and silicone before fitting, or the new rubber will judder. If the car has a rear wiper, look at that blade too.
