On the job
Two beams, one bulb
H4 carries the 55 W low-beam and 60 W high-beam filaments in one bulb, which is why single-reflector headlamps use it. The lamp finder lists it for the single-headlamp VW Transporter T6 and Toyota Hilux; the twin-headlamp versions use H7, or H11 with HB3, instead. This ORIGINAL LINE version is the OE-grade lamp at 1650/1000 lm.
Fitting notes
When one H4 fails, both beams on that side can go with it, so customers notice quickly. Change both sides together to keep the pattern even, and seat the P43t flange flat before refitting the spring clip. While the cover is off, check the W5W parking light in the same headlamp on the T6 and Hilux.
