The default H7
This is the H7 type carmakers fit at the factory, so it gives the beam pattern and life the headlamp was designed around. In our range it is the halogen low beam on the Golf VII, Passat B8, Octavia III, Focus IV, Transit Custom, Sprinter, 3008 and Doblò, and it doubles as the high beam on the Tiguan, C-Class and twin-headlamp T6. Check the headlamp version first: bi-xenon and LED cars take something else.
On the same job
Replace both sides together; the second bulb is rarely far behind. While the headlamp is open, check the high-beam bulb (H15, H1 or HB3 depending on the car) and the W5W parking light, and handle the new bulb by the base only. Have the aim checked after fitting if the beam looks off.
