On the job
Clean air to the engine
The C 24 036 stops road dust before it reaches the turbo and cylinders, and keeps the air-mass meter reading true so fuelling and emissions stay where they should. The media is partly bonded with lignin, a wood by-product, in place of some of the usual resin. The sealing frame follows the OE air box exactly, so unfiltered air has no way around the element.
Service set
On a service the workshop usually replaces it together with the oil filter HU 7032 z, fuel filter PU 10 028 z and cabin filter CU 29 003-2 for the same car, so one order covers the filters. The fitment list shows exactly which versions it suits. Log the change in the service book and reset the service indicator.
