The job
SACHS 560 439 replaces a worn front strut on the Peugeot 3008 II 1.5 BlueHDi. It suits cars on standard suspension and is sold per strut, so order two for the axle. Mounting is top pin, as on the original, so it goes straight in without changes.
Alongside it
Dampers should be changed in pairs on the same axle so the car stays balanced under braking and in bends. With the strut out, it is the natural time to replace the top mount, bump stops and dust covers, and to check springs, drop links and wheel alignment once it is back together.
