The job
When a high-mileage Transit Custom comes in with clutch slip and a knocking flywheel, this is the one-box repair. It holds the dual-mass flywheel, the 258 mm cover and disc with 23 splines, the aluminium central slave cylinder and the flywheel and pressure plate bolts, so nothing has to be sourced separately.
Fitting notes
Valeo gives 128 Nm for the eight flywheel bolts. If the flywheel still measures within limits, the KIT3P 834594 is the cheaper repair. Keeping the van off the road only once is usually what the fleet customer cares about. The flywheel bolts come in the box and must not be reused later.
