Why this one
01
55 W, 1350 lm
Nominal output at 13.2 V test voltage, ±10 %.
02
PGJ19-2 base
Angled base; not the same as the H8 PGJ19-1.
03
Low beam or fog
Used in headlamps and front fog lamps on our vehicles.
04
OE-grade halogen
Same lamp type carmakers fit at the factory.
On the job
Two jobs, one type
H11 turns up in two places on our vehicle list: as the halogen low beam on the Leaf, 124 Spider and twin-headlamp Hilux, and as the front fog-lamp bulb on cars and vans such as the Golf VII, T6, Transit Custom and Sprinter. The ORIGINAL LINE lamp is the OE-grade version, rated 350 h B3, and the sensible replacement when the customer just wants the light back.
Watch the H8
H8 and H11 look alike, but H8 is 35 W on a PGJ19-1 base and H11 is 55 W on PGJ19-2. Check the old bulb before opening a box. On low-beam cars, fit in pairs and check the high-beam bulb and the W5W parking and plate lights at the same time.
