On the job
Brake cleaning without solvent
VOC Free takes a different route from classic Brakleen: instead of a fast-flashing solvent it uses a water-emulsifiable formula with 0 g/l VOC. It is not flammable, so it suits enclosed bays, brakes that are still warm from a road test and workshops trying to cut their solvent stock. Spray it on, give it time to work, then rinse the loosened brake dust, fluid and grease away with water.
Where it fits in the job
The formula is compatible with PU, HDPE, PVC, ABS and PS, which helps around sensor housings, rubber boots and plastic covers, and it also cleans wheels and hubs. Because it leaves water behind rather than flashing off, let the parts dry before assembly. Finish the brake job with Braklube PRO on the slide pins and Copper Paste PRO on the hub face.
