For electrical faults
Many intermittent faults come down to a dirty or damp connector: sensor plugs, lamp connectors, switch contacts. QD Contact Cleaner washes these out with a high-purity hydrocarbon solvent and evaporates completely, leaving less than 10 ppm non-volatile residue. It is non-conductive and non-corrosive, and contains no chlorinated, fluorinated, alcohol or glycol-ether components.
Using it safely
The solvent is chosen for applications where sensitive plastics are involved, so connectors can be cleaned in place. Disconnect the power first, since it must not be sprayed on live equipment, and let the part dry before plugging it back in. The extension tube puts the spray exactly where it is needed. The 12 × 250 ml case suits most workshops; 500 ml cans are also available.
