The job it does

OE-equivalent vented disc for the front axle of the VW Golf VII, Golf VIII, Passat B8, Tiguan II, Skoda Octavia III and Octavia IV. New it measures 312 x 25 mm and it must be replaced at 22 mm. The high-carbon iron damps vibration and copes better with heat, which helps against judder.

Fitting it

Discs are always changed in axle pairs, and this one comes as a pair in the box. Fit new front pads at the same time, clean the hub face back to bare metal and check the caliper slide pins. Brembo lists a tightening torque of 120 Nm. A brake fluid change is often due at the same visit. Check the PR code on the service sticker before ordering.
