On the job
The job it does
OE-equivalent vented disc for the front axle of the VW Golf VII, Golf VIII, Skoda Octavia III and Octavia IV. New it measures 288 x 25 mm and it must be replaced at 22 mm. The geometry matches the original disc, so no changes are needed at the hub or caliper.
Fitting it
Discs are always changed in axle pairs, and this one comes as a pair in the box. Fit new front pads at the same time, clean the hub face back to bare metal and check the caliper slide pins. Brembo lists a tightening torque of 120 Nm. A brake fluid change is often due at the same visit. Check the PR code on the service sticker before ordering.
