On the job
The job it does
OE-equivalent vented disc for the rear axle of the Tesla Model Y. New it measures 335 x 20 mm and it must be replaced at 18 mm. The geometry matches the original disc, so no changes are needed at the hub or caliper.
Fitting it
Discs are always changed in axle pairs, and this one is packed singly, so order two. Fit new rear pads at the same time, clean the hub face back to bare metal and check the caliper slide pins. On electric cars the brakes see little use, so check for rust on the friction ring at every service.
