Why this one
01
Aluminium link
Light aluminium arm to the original A4 B9 design.
02
Joint not included
Ball joint is a separate part; reuse a good one.
03
Lower front position
Front lower link of the five-link front axle.
04
Left-hand side
Right-hand partner is 109586.
On the job
The job
The A4 B9 has a five-link front axle, and the lower links are usually the first to wear, showing up as knocks and a restless steering wheel under braking. This aluminium arm replaces the left lower front link. The ball joint is not included, which keeps the cost down when only the arm or its bush has gone.
Alongside it
With the wheel off, check the other links on the same side, since they share the mileage. Fit the right-hand link, 109586, at the same time for even handling, finish with an alignment, and recalibrate driver-assistance cameras or radar if fitted.
