This front drop link is the one febi lists for the Octavia IV, and it also appears for Golf VII and Octavia III alongside 24122. febi does not publish what separates the two, so match the OE number or the shape of the old link before ordering. It fits either side, measures 335 mm and has M12 x 1.5 studs with lock nuts supplied.
Alongside it
Replace both front links together; a worn one on one side usually means the other is close. Hold the stud with a hex key while tightening the nut. Lower wishbones and outer track-rod ends on the same cars share the mileage and are worth checking at the same time.
