The job
The right-hand lower wishbone for the MQB Golf and Octavia, with both rubber bushes already in place. When one side knocks the other is rarely far behind, so this arm usually goes on the same order as 106142. Fitting is a straight swap followed by a four-wheel alignment.
Alongside it
Doing both arms at once keeps the bush stiffness even from side to side and saves a second alignment a few months later. Check drop links and outer track-rod ends while the wheels are off, and recalibrate front driver-assistance cameras or radar where fitted.
