The job
Hilux pickups spend their lives loaded, towing or off the tarmac, and the clutch takes the strain. This kit renews the cover, the disc and the release bearing on the 2.4 D with the 6-speed manual, from 03.2016, for both the 2WD and 4WD versions.
Check alongside
The release bearing is mechanical, so check the fork, its pivot and the guide sleeve for wear and grease them lightly. Look at the flywheel face and the crankshaft rear seal while the gearbox is out, and check the clutch hydraulics for leaks.
