The job
Vans that tow, carry full loads or spend their days in town traffic wear clutches quickly. This kit covers the wear parts on the T6 2.0 TDI 110 kW manual: pressure plate, disc and the central slave cylinder that sits inside the bell housing. Replacing the slave cylinder at the same time avoids pulling the gearbox again for a leak.
Check alongside
The dual-mass flywheel is reused, so check its play and runout while the gearbox is out and look for oil from the crankshaft rear seal. A worn flywheel means ordering one separately. Grease the input shaft splines sparingly and keep grease off the friction faces; bleed the hydraulics fully after fitting.
