On the job
The job it does
A complete rear axle set for the Hyundai Tucson 1.6 CRDi and Kia Niro 1.6 Hybrid. The pads measure 100 x 41 mm and are 15 mm thick, made to fit the Akebono caliper, and the friction material is ECE R90 approved and matched to the original for bite and wear. The box includes anti-squeal shims and fitting accessories, so worn hardware does not go back on.
Fitting it
Measure the discs while the wheels are off; if they are near the minimum thickness, replace them with the pads. A spring tab on the pad squeals against the disc when the lining gets thin. Clean and grease the caliper guides, push the piston back gently and bed the pads in with a few moderate stops.
