The job it does
OE-equivalent solid disc for the rear axle of the Volvo XC40 T4 Recharge. New it measures 302 x 12 mm and it must be replaced at 9 mm. The high-carbon iron damps vibration and copes better with heat, which helps against judder.
Fitting it
Discs are always changed in axle pairs, and this one comes as a pair in the box. Fit new rear pads at the same time, clean the hub face back to bare metal and check the caliper slide pins. Hybrids brake a lot on regeneration, so discs tend to rust before they wear out; look at the inner face.
