The job
Most current European cars, VW group and Tesla included, ask for a low-viscosity Class 6 fluid so the ESC pump can move it quickly when cold. This febi DOT 4 LV meets ISO 4925 Class 6 as well as Class 3 and 4, lists VW 501 14 among its specifications, and has a 265 °C dry and 170 °C wet boiling point.
Alongside it
It mixes with other fully synthetic glycol-based fluids, so a top-up will not cause trouble, but a full flush is the proper service. The 5 l bottle suits a bleeding unit; the small bottles suit top-ups. Keep bottles tightly closed, since brake fluid takes up moisture from the air.
