The job
The longer-bodied outer tie rod end used on the larger MQB cars. It fits the left side of the Passat B8 and Tiguan II and is also listed for Octavia III and IV, where febi gives 26096 as the other option depending on the steering rack. Body length is 112 mm, with M16 x 1.5 internal thread and M12 x 1.5 ball stud; lock nut supplied.
Alongside it
On an Octavia, measure the old end before ordering. Count the turns when removing it and align the car afterwards. Fit the right-hand end, 37594, at the same visit if it shows play, and check the inner tie rods and rack boots while the wheels are off.
